Are BAS Gloves the Best in the Market?
In this BAS Gloves Review, I’ll break down whether they really are the best cricket gloves on the market after using them for 4 years.
Quick Navigation – What’s Inside:

Okay, so many people have asked me which gloves are the best in the market. Which gloves last longer than others? Most expect me to name the usual giants like SG, SS, or other popular brands.
But today, I’ll tell you straight, in my entire playing career, I’ve never found better gloves than BAS. So, here is the BAS Gloves Review for you.
It is one of the finest gloves I have ever used. I bought them for around ₹1800 some years ago, and after playing with those gloves for around 3-4 years without damage, I gotta chance to change the gloves leather (palm area).
You may have also seen MS Dhoni wearing the same brand gloves when playing for IPL or even India.
Let’s break down what’s special about these gloves, why many cricketers like them, and what I discovered while using them.
1. Lightweight Design: Like a Second Skin
The first thing you notice is how light they feel. There’s no bulky, restrictive feeling, just a secure, second-skin fit. This lightness translates directly to better bat feel and faster hands.
2. Built Quality That Lasts 4+ Years
I bought my pair for around ₹1,800 about four years ago. Yes, you read that right–four years. And I’m not talking about occasional use. These have been through club matches, academy nets, and everything in between.
The stitching? Still intact. The velcro? Still grips like day one. The only maintenance I performed was changing the palm leather once, which is normal wear and tear after countless hours of grip and sweat.
3. Price: Unbeatable Value at ₹1800
As I told you, these gloves only cost me ₹1800, without much of maintenance or any others. What more do you want from any gloves.
4. Durability: You Can Trust
These gloves give solid durability, for which I played without wear and tear of the gloves for 4 years straight.
Bonus Tip:
Always wear inner gloves inside the gloves. Yeah, you read it right, I always play the game with the inner gloves on, it is also one of the main reasons for the longer lifespan of gloves as well. Inner gloves absorb sweat, reduce friction, and protect the inner lining from breaking down too fast.

BAS vs SG Rohit Sharma Edition: My Comparison
Although I also used the SG Rohit Sharma edition gloves, which I purchased for around ₹3399 (Almost double the price of BAS Gloves), they are also excellent gloves. The material used is great, and when you hold the bat, you get a premium experience.
BUTTT, When I purchased it, within one year, I got to change its leather because it ripped out completely on one hand. So, be careful with these gloves.
Everything that I wrote is from my own experience, do make it a try.
Conclusion
In my career, I have used many different types of gloves, but BAS Gloves have always been my favourite & also it reminds me that expensive gloves don’t mean they will last longer, although some do, but not like BAS. That’s the main reason to do a BAS gloves review.
If you are a genuinely dedicated player and looking for the best, cheaper alternative option, then BAS Gloves may be one of the gloves you are looking for. You can definitely give it a try 😉
